Together with Singapore and Malacca, the island became part of the Straits Settlements, which was elevated into a British crown colony in 1867.The island's development as a British entrepôt and a regional centre of spice production attracted various religions and ethnicities, including the Peranakans, onto its shores.
Founded by Francis Light of the British East India Company in 1786, Penang Island, then named the Prince of Wales Island, was one of the first British possessions in Southeast Asia.
Penang Island, the most populous island city in Malaysia, is situated in the State of Penang.
With a population of 738,500, it also forms Malaysia's second largest city by population, while Greater Penang, with 2.5 million inhabitants, is the nation's second most populous metropolis.
With their different personalities - Ji-Woon is a tough guy, Hyun-Min is a playboy and Seo-Woo is a musician - they don't like each other at all. Haha at least no one needs to go abroad in the end the ost (BTOB- for you) itself attract me from very first time...trying to watch eps.1 and fall in love with park so dam & her 4 knights acting, eventhough the ending is obviously park so dam will be together with ill wooo oppa I could not continue watching this show the moment I realized that the main female lead and il woo's character would (illogically) end up together.
Additionally, Ji-Woon likes Hye-Ji (Son Na-Eun) who likes Hyun-Min. It is always a risk I think to introduce two characters as potential pairings in the beginning, especially when it is entertaining and interesting - and which is easy to do since the story unfolds from there- but then reveal the 'real' pairing later on into another trajectory - but it CAN be saved and it can be surprisingly romantic with clever character complexes and emotional reasoning that takes place between a good story and the audience.
